Preserving the story of your garden through slow, intentional botanical art.
Created as heirloom pieces meant to endure beyond the seasons.
An Heirloom for Those Who Tend their Land with Love
Your garden is not just a decoration.
It is patience. Memory. Ritual. Care.
Each season you nurture something living, often quietly, often for years.
The Garden Legacy is a commissioned artwork created by collecting and preserving blooms and greenery directly from your home garden throughout the growing season, resulting in a one-of-a-kind framed botanical heirloom.
This is the story of your garden, told slowly, preserved
for future generations to cherish and appreciate.

Who This Commission is For
The Garden Legacy is designed for those who:
-
Tend their gardens with intention and devotion
-
Feel emotionally connected to specific plants or seasons
-
Wish to preserve a garden before a transition (downsizing, selling, legacy keeping)
-
Want an artwork that carries meaning, not trend
-
Value craftsmanship, patience, and permanence
If you believe a garden holds memory, this commission is for you.

The Process
I. The Garden Conversation
We begin with a private consultation, either in person or by phone, to learn:
How long you’ve tended your garden
Which plants hold meaning and why
The rhythm of your growing season
The feeling you want the final piece to evoke
This conversation guides every creative decision.
II. Seasonal Flower Collection
Your garden is visited 3–4 times throughout the blooming season, timed to natural peak moments:
Spring emergence
Early summer abundance
Late summer maturity
Optional autumn closing
From each visit, select flowers, foliage, seed heads, or herbs are gently collected.
III. Slow Preservation
All botanicals are preserved using time-honoured methods:
Natural air-drying
Traditional flower presses
Silica Sand for three dimensional flower finishes
No artificial colouring
This process honours the plant’s original character and requires patience, just as gardening does.
IV. Artistic Composition
Once preservation is complete, a custom fine-art composition is created:
Balanced, intentional placement
Consideration of colour, negative space, and seasonal flow
Designed to feel archival, timeless, and museum-worthy
No two pieces are ever repeated.
V. Framing & Final Presentation
Your artwork is delivered fully finished:
Quality materials
Multiple frame colour choices
Ready for display
Designed to last for generations
VI. Optional Additions
Additional collection visits to garden site
Larger format artwork
Companion artwork (smaller piece)
Professional photo album of your blooms
Identification label/plaque to title/date your artwork

A MESSAGE OF
GRATITUDE
Gardens hold more than flowers. They hold time, memory, devotion, and the quiet rituals of showing up season after season. To witness that relationship, and to preserve it with intention, is a responsibility I hold with great respect.
Every Garden Legacy commission is approached slowly and thoughtfully, honouring not only the plants themselves, but the person who nurtured them and the life that grew alongside them. It is a privilege to work in this way and to be entrusted with something so personal.
Thank you for considering this work, and for the care you bring to the world through the act of tending what grows.
- Paje Honor
